You Will Need To Activate Your Etsy Product Listing

After you use App 2.0 to send a product to your Etsy Store, wait a few minutes before editing or viewing the product in your Etsy store. App 2.0 may still be syncing product details. Then, you will need to complete a few steps on the Etsy listing to make your product live:

In your Etsy Store:

• Always check the product for any details that need to be corrected: product title, price, description, etc.
• Review the Etsy listing. Etsy listings often have new data fields where you can add information. Be sure to review each listing accordingly.
• Make your product active. Etsy accepts the App 2.0 product with its status in Draft mode. Each listing has an option to make it go active and live on the Etsy platform.

Note: Etsy charges sellers for each listing they create on Etsy. Our App 2.0 will not warn you about these Etsy listing fees. Please check your Etsy account to see what your listing fees are. 

✅ Editable Product Attributes in Etsy:

In your Etsy store, you can change any of the editable attributes below and it will not impact the order details received by our production department.

• Product Title – You can modify the product name to better fit your branding.
• Product Description – Update the description to provide more details or promotional content.
• Product Tags – Add or remove tags to improve searchability within your store.
• Product Type and Vendor – Adjust these to organize your products effectively.
• Pricing – Change the price, compare-at price, and cost per item as needed.
• Inventory Details – Update SKU, barcode, and inventory quantities.
• Shipping Information – Modify weight, customs information, and shipping options.
• Any listing option unique to Etsy – This includes category, attributes, and shop section.

Making any of these changes will not change the production of the product made by Candle Builders.

❌ Non-Editable Attributes After You Send Products To Etsy from App 2.0:

The Product Scents, label art, Jar size, Jar Color, and Jar Lids (If applicable) are 100% locked and cannot be changed. 
The product scents, label art, jar size, jar color, and jar lids (if applicable) are 100% locked and cannot be changed. Etsy will allow you to physically change these values in an Etsy listing. However, those changes will not change or update the connected product in App 2.0. Also, if you make a product change in App 2.0, your Etsy listing will not update. If you need your product to have additional scents, a different jar size, color, or lid, or different label artwork, you will need to create a new product in App 2.0.
