Adding your Candle Builders App 2.0 products to your sales channels.
Once you complete Step 6: Create A Product, it will appear in the Products section from the leftside navigation. Here, you can select which products you want to add to your sales channels. Once a product is added to a sales channel, that sales channel will be listed next to the product.
What You’ll See in the Products Section
- Product Image – Displays the label and candle style for quick visual reference.
- Product Title – The name you assigned when creating the product in App 2.0.
- Variants – The number of scent options currently available for that product.
- Active Listings – Shows which sales channels the product is already published to. If this is blank, then the product is not published to any connected sales channel.
- Action – Click the trash icon to delete a product. This removes it from App 2.0 only — it will remain on your sales channels. Deleting a product may affect pending orders tied to that product.
Note: You can only publish one product at a time and to one channel at a time.
How to Submit a Product to a Sales Channel
1. Go to your Products.
2. Check the box next to the product you want to add to a Sales Channel.
3. Click Add To Channel and choose your Sales Channel from the dropdown.
4. Click the + Add button to submit.
5. Your product will then show which sales channels it is connected to. If you do not see the connected sales channel, refresh your browser.
Note: Each product must be submitted individually from this list.
Warning: Submission doesn't mean it's live
After the product appears on your sales channel, wait a few more minutes before editing or viewing the product on the sales channel, especially on Shopify. App 2.0 may still be syncing product details.
After the product appears on your sales channel, you may need to review or publish it on that channel directly. Always check for missing information or required fields before going live.
FYI Shopify, will not allow the product to be active and it will not be assigned any sales channels. Therefore you will need to assign it to your Online Sales Channel and any others that you like. Then, you will need to move it from draft to active. For help on this, go to our Shopify App 2.0 Support Page.
A live product means your candle is available for sale on your sales channel. When orders are received, we will start dropshipping your orders directly to your customers.
After Publishing: Product Specs Are Locked
After publishing, App 2.0 will no longer update the product — either in the app or on any connected sales channel. Click here for more details.
